When using breath to tend to our mental health, it’s a little bit more complex than simply, “take a deep inhale.” The individual differences are endless – there is no one-size-fits-all for regulating complex emotional states. This workshop will explore some questions to help participants become aware of how they can use breathwork as a tool on their mental wellness journey. We will process some experiences offered from within the group and lead into a guided breathe. Come prepared to listen, share, hold space for one another, and for yourself!

Jacquie is a practicing mental health counselor who has a focused practice in sports and performance psychology. She obtained her Master’s from the University of Miami and completed her clinical hours with the Miami Hurricanes athletic department. She also has extensive experience in the field of eating disorder recovery. Jacquie holds an instructor certification for breathwork through XPT and has been teaching yoga since 2016. She co-manages the Miami Ice Club where members share in the practice of breathwork and cold exposure. Jacquie loves her daily opportunity to witness human potential by accompanying people through their inner work.
