This week’s Breath of the Week feels like one to return to again and again.
Luke leads a rich, layered practice that begins with mindful movement, inviting the breath to follow the path of the hands and arms through gentle, expansive gestures. From there, the practice transitions into structured pathway breathing, exploring three different breathing patterns (nose/nose, nose/mouth, mouth/mouth) with shifting cadences designed to build both regulation and resilience.
But the real heart of this session unfolds in the final phase—a deeply meditative exploration of conscious tension release and re-engagement. With each breath, you’re invited to soften. To notice. To stay connected to your being, no matter what sensations arise.
As Luke reminds us through a passage from Tsongkhapa:
“The human body, at peace with itself,
Is more precious than the rarest gem.”
This practice is both a reminder and a call:
Cherish your body.
Stay with yourself.
And let your breath be the bridge.
