This week’s Breath of the Week is a soft, present-centered evening session led by Lindsey Melton called Attention: Our Greatest Resource.
The inspiration for this practice comes from a quote by Adam Grant:
“Our scarcest, most precious resource is not time or energy. It’s attention.”
In a world full of noise, this breathwork session offers a place to return to yourself — one moment, one breath, one point of attention at a time.
Practice Flow:
- Settle in with a grounding body scan
- Use double inhale / single exhale to reset your rhythm
- Practice presence through five layers of breath attention:
- Beginning of the inhale
- Duration of the inhale
- Beginning of the exhale
- Duration of the exhale
- The pause before the inhale begins again
- Broaden your awareness to feel the full cycle, without control
This session is a quiet invitation:
✨ Pay attention.
💛 Feel what’s already here.
🌬️ Let breath lead you back to yourself.
“Thank you for sharing your attention with me.”
