INTERBREATHING is a take on the Buddhist teaching, interbeing, a term created by Thich Nhat Hanh that details and explains the interconnectedness and interdependence of all living things. It points to the ongoing continuation of realization of the here and now that is inherent in sincere presence and meditation practice.

In eight online meetings over one month, INTERBREATHING instructs a blend of conscious breathing techniques, breath awareness, and mindfulness practice as intentional practices for the individual, which help develop a greater and ongoing sense of the reality of non-separation between individual self and world.

Meditation Course

“‘To be’ is to inter-be. You cannot just be by yourself alone. You have to inter-be with every other thing.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Luke Wientzen developed INTERBREATHING as a modern antidote for what is visibly observable in our current times – excessive suffering and deepening division between people on nearly every citable level of society.

This course will equip individuals with breath and mindfulness practices that weave themselves into the fabric of daily life.

This authentic and impactful approach will elicit self-love and resonance on the quality of one’s inner and outer existence – positively enhancing one’s life, times, and all the relationships and interactions that life provides.

luke wientzenLuke Wientzen

Luke Wientzen is an open and curious student who holds a particular interest in sharing body, breath, mind, and heart practices that positively enhance the vibration we carry forth into our lives. He has worn many teaching hats for many years: as a public high school special education teacher, a public yoga and breath-based movement educator, and as a breathworker and meditation instructor. Luke has led breathwork, yoga, and meditation experiences, workshops, retreats, and trainings for nearly two decades. He shares growth mindset, heart presence, and relational meditation practices in all of these contexts.

As a breath facilitator and mindfulness meditation teacher, Luke instructs physical, mental, emotional, and energetic perspectives and practices learned from a wide range of masters and born out of his own direct experiences. He uses a wide range of techniques that assist in embracing our human experience, with the intention of alleviating suffering, which in turn benefits those closest to us, as we all come to know the truth and blessing of this joyful human being.

What others are saying about working with Luke

“Luke is an exceptional meditation facilitator. I’ve had the pleasure of attending his classes in person and online, and he has added tremendous value to my meditation experiences and my growth as a student. His wordsmithing skills and uncanny use of metaphors keep the mediations interesting and original. I find my racing mind stumbling through the start of most meditations, but within a matter of a few cues and visualizations, Luke balances the guidance I need with letting me have a personal, quiet experience. Each meditation brings something new, yet familiar, and his abundance of joy, humility, and humor never disappoints!”

Molly H.

“The quality of our minute by minute existence can be improved by training and practice. By becoming more aware of our own consciousness and connectedness, we can become active curators of the emotions and experiences that reveal the best versions of ourselves, for ourselves and others. Luke has been one of several teachers that I’ve had along my personal journey, and time and time again I’ve found his insights, perspectives, and approaches to be refreshing and resonant. I eagerly await his upcoming course, and I hope to see you there!”
